Sintered wire mesh laminates is multi layer of wire mesh / wire cloth diffusion bonded by sintering process under high temperature and pressure.

Sintered wire mesh laminates

Each layer of the wire mesh is carefully inspected and cleaned, then laminated and spot welded to form a multi layer plate. After the plate is put into the sintering furnace under high pressure and temperature within time, the adjacent wires partially melt and then merge with each other. Once the sintered laminates cooled with controlled procedure and time, it becomes a rigid, stable and flat piece of sintered wire mesh. Then it is ready to be fabricated with any methods suitable for wire mesh:

Standard material and sizes of sintered wire mesh laminates

The standard material for the sintered wire mesh is 316L stainless steel. 316L is the mostly chosen material with the balance of corrosion resistance, physical property and price. 304, 304L, 316 stainless steel is also available as request but not recommended.

For tougher and more demanding working fluid and environment, other exotic materials can be used for the sintered wire mesh and filter elements, such as 310S, 254 SMO, Monel 400, Inconel 600 625, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C22, Duplex 2205, Duplex 2507, etc.

Standard sizes of the sintered wire mesh are available in 500*1000mm, 1000*1000mm, 600*1200mm, 1200*1200mm and 1200*1500mm, other sizes inside these ranges can be customized.
