Type C is the sintered wire mesh with perforated metal sheet. Multi-layers of wire cloth ( can be Type A or Type B or whatever combination) are sintered with one layer of perforated metal sheet. Both sides sintered with one layer of perforated metal sheet is also an option for extreme high pressure applications.

Property and customization of perforated metal sintered wire mesh
The perforated metal sheet provides robust support for the sintered wire cloth laminates. Thus Type C is suitable for high pressure self-support needed applications, typically for example, large diameter nutsche filter disc, big tube screen for automatic filer, etc.
The perforated metal can be round hole, square hole, honeycomb or other type. Dead zone (margin) can be designed and retained based on the application.

316 (1.4401), 316L (1.4404), 304, 304L stainless steel are the among the standard material for Type C sintered wire mesh with perforated metal.
Other exotic materials are also available as request, such as 310S, 904L, Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy C22, Monel 400, Inconel 625, etc.
